OUR STORY - TWO MOMS ON A MISSION
Helping prevent child abuse from the time a baby comes into the world is our mission. Allison Saft and Kedra Singer founder Kids Need Our Love after realizing that the system was broken and despite the best intentions, Department of Children and Families (DCF) education, has been unable to protect all of our week and most vulnerable.
Many children slip through the cracks because the nature of child physical and sexual abuse is insidious and hidden. There are signs and as advocates we urge the community at larger to always report what they see.
Like the motto from New York City Subways after 9/11, “If you see something, say something.” Most of all, if you or somebody you love is struggling in an abusive situation, please point them to our website and other resources.
However, if there is a child with no ability to protect themselves, you have a duty to advocate on their behalf by contacting 911 or the National Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-962-2873
As a non-profit organization, the mission of Kids Need Our Love, Inc. is to end child abuse deaths in the United States through education, resources, and hands-on guidance.
Our Mission
We dream of a world where no child is ever abused or neglected.
Through education and with the help from our community, policy-makers and hospitals, we can make this vision a reality.
We hope child abuse will be eradicated and children can flourish with love and support.
We are unique because we are a grassroots organization that starts at birth, when the journey between parents and children begins,
By educating new parents after giving birth at the hospital, we provide guidance, support and resources that are typically not provided. Through education, we hope to facilitate a healthy, safe, loving bond between parents and children.
And, most of all, to prevent these senseless deaths of innocent children through child abuse.
